Release notes: VSI is now Krans

You know us as VSI. From today we are Krans. Same product, same team, same roadmap, and everything you have built is exactly where you left it.

01 · Why Krans

Krans /krɑns/ is Dutch for a wreath, a circle woven from many stems. That is the product. Every call, document and deal you feed it gets woven into one picture of your venture, and that picture is what you decide from.

A rebrand, not a rebuild. Same team, same roadmap, same data.

02 · It tells you what you have to decide

Krans reads everything it knows about your venture and pulls out the decisions that are yours to make. Each one opens with what it noticed, not with a question. Then it says which way it would go, and why.

You can argue with it

Ask what would have to be true for the option it turned down. It argues against itself with your own evidence, then hands the question back to you.

03 · Ask your venture anything

The chat has read your calls, deals, signals and documents. Open it on a call and ask what is blocking the deal. Every answer shows what it is based on.

04 · None of it is guesswork

Everything Krans says comes from your own calls and documents. It keeps what it has learned in one place, and every claim there carries a score and a source.

What changes

• The name and the look. That is the whole of it, today.
• Emails, invites and release notes now come from Krans.
• Soon, the app and sender addresses move to Krans too.
• You will hear from us before that happens. Nothing to do on your side.

What does not

• Your workspace, your data, your history. Untouched.
• The app, on the address you already use. Redirects will follow.
• The monthly release notes. The next one lands in October.
